Biochemazone Toe Inflammation Fluid BZ358, also called artificial or simulated toe fluid, is a sterile, ready-to-use solution that simulates the composition and pH of the fluid of an inflamed toe, at pH 7.2.
When a toe is swollen, fluid has built up and is trapped there. The swelling can follow trauma, such as stubbing the toe or something falling on it, an infection, or a change in the structure of the toe, such as a bunion. BZ358 gives a consistent, non-human stand-in for this fluid for in vitro laboratory research.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. The pH and the contents can be customized to the project. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
