Biochemazone Artificial Matrix for Cutaneous Lesion BZ394, also called simulated matrix for cutaneous lesions, is a sterile, ready-to-use matrix that simulates the fluid environment of skin lesions, at pH 7.40.
A cutaneous lesion is any abnormality of or damage to the skin: a sore, lump, bump, discoloration or other structural change. Lesions have many causes, including infections, inflammatory conditions, trauma, allergies and tumour-related processes. BZ394 gives a consistent, non-human matrix for in vitro laboratory research on skin lesions.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. The pH and the contents can be customized to the project. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
