Biochemazone Simulated Human Armpits Sweat BZ360 is a ready-to-use, sterile synthetic underarm sweat at pH 5.5 that simulates the composition and pH of the sweat of the human armpit. The underarm is the most demanding sweat site for cosmetics and clothing: it is where deodorants, antiperspirants and perfumes are applied and where garments stain, fade and hold odour.
The solution contains minerals, metabolites and amino acids. The default formulation is without preservatives (not stabilized), with a 6-month shelf life unopened. A stabilized version is optional and has a 1-year shelf life: mention it in the order notes or email info@biochemazone.com after placing the order. The pH can be customized to your project requirement at no additional cost – state the desired pH in the order notes.
Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, BZ360 is used by makers of cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes and textiles. Is this the right sweat for malodour testing?
BZ360 simulates underarm sweat for product-performance, staining and compatibility testing. Body odour arises from apocrine sweat acted on by skin bacteria; for malodour studies use Artificial Apocrine Perspiration BZ335 or Synthetic Human Axillary Sweat BZ497.
