Biochemazone Artificial Eccrine Perspiration – Stabilized Sweat BZ112 is a ready-to-use, sterile, stabilized artificial eccrine sweat at pH 4.5. Eccrine glands produce the watery sweat that covers most of the body, and it is this sweat that wearables, touch surfaces and jewellery meet all day. BZ112 contains amino acids, minerals and metabolites chosen to simulate its composition, properties and pH, so the exposure is the same in every test.
The Stabilized version contains preservative, stabilizer, antifungal and antibacterial agents, so the solution stays free of microbial growth through repeated opening and has a 1-year shelf life unopened. Where additives must be avoided, order the not-stabilized, preservative-free version (BZ110) or the Powder Version Kit. The pH can be adjusted anywhere from 2 to 9 at no extra cost.
