Biochemazone Artificial Eccrine Perspiration – Not Stabilized BZ110 is a ready-to-use, sterile artificial eccrine sweat at pH 4.5. It contains amino acids, minerals and metabolites chosen to simulate the composition, properties and pH of real human eccrine sweat, so that products which touch the skin can be tested against a consistent sweat instead of variable human samples.
The Not Stabilized version is preservative-free: it contains no preservative, stabilizer, antifungal or antibacterial additive. It is the version to choose when additives could interfere with the result – metal-ion release, corrosion and tarnish studies, electrochemical and biosensor work, and skin drug testing. Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, each batch is standardised for composition and pH. The pH can be adjusted anywhere from 2 to 9 at no extra cost.
BZ110 is used by makers of smartwatches and fitness monitors, touch screens and heads-up displays, keyboards, bank cards, eyewear, jewellery, leather goods and high-performance textiles, and by pharmaceutical and fingerprint researchers, to obtain the same repeatable sweat exposure anywhere, at any time. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Not Stabilized and Stabilized versions?
BZ110 is supplied without preservative or stabilizer, so no additive is present that could affect metal release, corrosion or sensor readings. The stabilized version (BZ111) contains a preservative / stabilizer system for users who open the bottle repeatedly over a long test programme.
Can I order a different pH?
