Biochemazone Artificial Eccrine Perspiration – Stabilized BZ111 is a ready-to-use, sterile, stabilized artificial eccrine sweat at pH 4.5. It contains amino acids, minerals and metabolites chosen to simulate the composition, properties and pH of real human eccrine sweat, giving product developers a consistent sweat in place of variable human samples.
The Stabilized version contains preservative, stabilizer, antifungal and antibacterial agents, so the solution stays free of microbial growth through repeated opening and has a 1-year shelf life unopened – convenient for long wear-simulation and durability programmes run from one lot. Where additives must be avoided, order the not-stabilized, preservative-free version (BZ110) or the Powder Version Kit. The pH can be adjusted anywhere from 2 to 9 at no extra cost.
Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, BZ111 is used by makers of smartwatches and fitness monitors, touch screens, keyboards, bank cards, eyewear, jewellery, leather goods and high-performance textiles for sweat-resistance testing. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Stabilized and Not Stabilized versions?
BZ111 contains a preservative / stabilizer system and has a 1-year shelf life unopened. The not-stabilized version (BZ110) is preservative-free and has a 6-month shelf life unopened; choose it when additives could affect metal release, corrosion or sensor readings.
Can I order a different pH?
