Biochemazone Artificial Eccrine Perspiration Custom pH – Not Stabilized BZ114 is a ready-to-use, sterile artificial eccrine sweat made to the pH you specify. The standard pH is 6.8; any pH from 2 to 9 is supplied at no extra cost. Eccrine sweat leaves the gland acidic and drifts towards neutral and alkaline as it stays on the skin, so the pH that matters depends on the body site, the activity and the wear time your product has to survive.
The solution contains amino acids, minerals and metabolites that simulate the composition and properties of real human eccrine sweat. It is supplied not stabilized and preservative-free: no preservative, stabilizer, antifungal or antibacterial additive is present that could affect metal-release, corrosion or sensor measurements. It has a 6-month shelf life unopened. The stabilized version is BZ115. State the pH you need in the order notes or by email.
Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, every batch is adjusted and checked at the pH ordered. BZ114 is used for wearable, textile, leather, jewellery and biosensor testing where a specific sweat pH is required. The fixed pH 4.5 versions are BZ110 (not stabilized) and BZ111 (stabilized).
