Biochemazone Simulated Human Arm Sweat BZ359 is a ready-to-use, sterile synthetic sweat at pH 6.3 that simulates the composition and pH of the sweat of the human arm. The forearm and wrist are where watches, fitness bands, sleeves and patches sit, so arm sweat is the exposure that matters for most wrist-worn and sleeve-contact products.
The solution contains minerals, metabolites and amino acids. The default formulation is without preservatives (not stabilized), with a 6-month shelf life unopened. A stabilized version is optional and has a 1-year shelf life: mention it in the order notes or email info@biochemazone.com after placing the order. The pH can be customized to your project requirement at no additional cost – state the desired pH in the order notes.
Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, BZ359 is used by wearable, textile, leather and jewellery manufacturers and by biosensor developers. Why test with arm sweat rather than a general sweat?
