Biochemazone Artificial Lymph Fluid BZ267, also called simulated lymph fluid, is a sterile, ready-to-use solution that simulates the composition and pH of lymph. It is supplied at pH 7.4 to 7.8, and the pH can be customized to the project requirement.
The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that helps rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. Its primary function is to transport lymph throughout the body. It consists mainly of lymphatic vessels, similar to the veins and capillaries of the circulatory system, connected to the lymph nodes, where the lymph is filtered; the tonsils, adenoids, spleen and thymus are all part of it. BZ267 gives laboratories a lymph simulant of constant composition for in vitro research on the lymphatic system, in place of a fluid that is hard to collect.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. The formulation, minerals, organic content and pH can be customized. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
