Biochemazone hCG Level Series Artificial Urine BZ598 supplies synthetic urine at four defined levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG): negative (0 mIU/mL), low (10 mIU/mL), cut-off (25 mIU/mL) and high (500 mIU/mL). Testing a pregnancy test across these levels shows its detection limit, how it behaves at the cut-off and how strong the line is at a clearly positive level.
All four levels share the same urine matrix – urea, creatinine and physiological salts at a pH of about 6.0 (range 5.5–7.0) – so only the hCG changes between bottles. The measured hCG value for each batch is stated on the certificate of analysis.
Our existing hCG Positive Artificial Human Urine is a single positive level; this series adds the graded levels needed for sensitivity and cut-off work. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system. It is a research and development material, not a registered clinical control.
