Biochemazone Artificial Seawater BZ314, also called simulated seawater or substitute sea water, is a sterile, ready-to-use solution that simulates the composition and pH of real ocean water (seawater). It can be used directly and is supplied at pH 8.2; the pH can be customized to the project requirement.
BZ314 gives laboratories a seawater of constant composition for laboratory research and testing, in place of collected seawater.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. The stabilizer, pH and contents can be customized to the project. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
