Product Overview
Biochemazone Urinalysis Strip Test Panel BZ596 is a two-level artificial urine for checking and teaching urine dipstick (reagent strip) testing. The negative level reads negative on all pads, with a pH of about 6.0 and a low specific gravity. The multi-analyte positive level reads positive for glucose, protein, ketones, bilirubin, blood, nitrite and leukocytes, with a pH of about 7.5 and a high specific gravity.
Our existing disease-state urines each carry one or two analytes. This panel puts every common dipstick reaction in a single positive bottle, which saves time in strip development, reader checks and classroom practicals. Target reactions are set for common commercial strips; each batch is tested on reference strips and the observed reactions are recorded on the certificate.
The panel is for research, product development and teaching. It is not a registered quality-control material for clinical diagnosis. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
