Biochemazone Physiological Saline Solution (PHSS) BZ473 is a sterile, isotonic 0.9% (w/v) sodium chloride solution in high-purity water. At about 154 mM NaCl it matches the osmolarity of body fluids, so cells, tissues and test samples keep their normal volume.

Isotonic saline is one of the most used liquids in the laboratory: for rinsing and holding tissues and cells, diluting samples, preparing microbial suspensions, and as a polar extraction medium in material and device testing. The solution is supplied sterile and ready to use.

Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
