Biochemazone Artificial Perspiration AATCC Test Method 15 Sweat – Custom pH, Not Stabilized BZ138 is a ready-to-use, sterile artificial perspiration based on the acid perspiration solution of AATCC Test Method 15, Colorfastness to Perspiration – the sodium chloride / lactic acid / disodium hydrogen phosphate / L-histidine monohydrochloride solution. It is supplied at the method pH of 4.3 or, on request and at no extra cost, at any pH from 2 to 9.
A custom pH is useful when a buyer specification, an in-house method or a worst-case study calls for a different acidity from the method, or when results are to be compared with ISO 105-E04 (pH 5.5 and 8.0) on the same sweat base. State the pH in the order notes. The solution is supplied not stabilized and preservative-free, with a 6-month shelf life unopened.
Prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system, every batch is standardised for composition and pH so that colour-change and staining ratings are reproducible between laboratories.
