Product Overview
Biochemazone Tyrode’s Solution BZ212 is a sterile balanced salt solution that is roughly isotonic with interstitial fluid. Alongside sodium, potassium and calcium chloride it contains magnesium, glucose, phosphate and bicarbonate, giving tissues both the ions and the energy source they need.
Tyrode’s solution is a close relative of Ringer’s solution. The bicarbonate–phosphate pair buffers the pH and glucose fuels the tissue, which makes it a long-standing choice for isolated intestine and smooth-muscle preparations, cardiac myocyte work, platelet washing and tissue rinsing. The solution is sterile-filtered through a 0.2 µm membrane.
Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
