Biochemazone Simulated Eye Inflammatory Fluid BZ352, also called artificial or synthetic eye inflammatory fluid, is a sterile, ready-to-use, viscous simulant of eye inflammation fluid, at pH 7.2. Its pH can be set within pH 7.2 to 7.4; the standard formulation is at pH 7.2. It is formulated according to official testing methods and published research data.
Diagnostic companies, makers of prosthetic eye devices, biomedical and lens and optical testing laboratories use it to test their products for quality assurance, and as a matrix for quality control preparations. Because it is synthetic, a test on a material or surface gives the same repeatable result anywhere, at any time.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. The formulation, minerals, organic content and pH can be customized. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
