Product Overview
Biochemazone Drug-Free Synthetic Urine Matrix BZ571 is a fully synthetic, analyte-free urine for laboratories that need a clean, consistent blank. It is used as a negative control and as the base matrix for preparing calibrators, quality-control samples and spiked standards in LC-MS/MS, GC-MS and immunoassay drug testing.
Because it contains no human urine, BZ571 is free of drugs, drug metabolites, medications, nicotine, caffeine and other compounds that make pooled donor urine unpredictable. The formulation contains urea, creatinine and physiological salts, and is adjusted to read as normal urine: pH 6.5 (range 6.0–7.0), specific gravity about 1.010–1.020 and creatinine above 20 mg/dL.
Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system. BZ571 is supplied to laboratories, instrument makers and reagent manufacturers only.
