Product Overview
Biochemazone Simulated Dog Urine – Turf and Pet-Pad Grade BZ674 is our Simulated Dog Urine (BZ375) in the larger volumes needed for testing artificial turf, pet pads, flooring and carpets. It is offered with a standard added odour for odour-control tests, or unscented for absorbency, staining and drainage tests.
The fluid contains urea, creatinine and salts at levels typical of dog urine, with a pH of about 6.0–7.0 and a specific gravity of about 1.020–1.035. Its nitrogen (urea) content makes it suitable for studies of lawn and turf yellowing (“dog spots”) and for testing turf infill and deodorising treatments.
The odour version reproduces the ammonia notes of aged dog urine at one fixed level, so that results can be compared between batches. The fluid is fully synthetic and contains no animal material. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
