Product Overview
Biochemazone In-Vitro Digestibility Buffer Kit BZ669 contains pre-weighed salts for the two buffer solutions used in the in-vitro true digestibility (IVTD) method with rotating incubation jars and filter bags, such as the ANKOM DaisyII method. It saves feed laboratories from weighing seven reagents before every run.
Solution A contains potassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, sodium chloride, calcium chloride and urea. Solution B contains sodium carbonate and sodium sulfide, packed separately. When the two are made up in purified water and combined in the ratio given by the method, the buffer has a pH of about 6.8 at 39 °C. Rumen fluid is not included.
Each unit makes the buffer for one incubation jar (about 1.6 L). Biochemazone is not affiliated with the instrument maker; check the quantities and steps in your version of the method. Made under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
