Product Overview
Biochemazone Greywater Challenge Water Concentrate BZ637 is made for testing onsite greywater treatment and reuse systems. It follows the approach of NSF/ANSI 350, in which systems are challenged with a synthetic greywater made from personal-care and laundry products, test dust and salts so that every test starts from the same water quality.
Two types are offered: bathing greywater (body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and similar products) and laundry greywater (detergent, softener and fabric soil). Each concentrate is diluted with tap water on site to give challenge water in the typical target range for BOD, suspended solids and turbidity, with a pH of about 7.0 (range 6.5–8.0). The microbial seed some protocols add is not included.
Use the targets in your edition of NSF/ANSI 350 to check the diluted water before each run; we can adjust the concentrate to match your results. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
