Biochemazone Interstitial Fluid Ketone and Lactate Panel BZ620 supplies simulated interstitial fluid at defined levels of β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB), the main ketone body, and lactate. Continuous ketone monitors and lactate sensors read these analytes in interstitial fluid, and developers need matched samples across the clinical and sports range.
Four levels are offered: ketone low (0.5 mmol/L) and high (3.0 mmol/L), covering nutritional ketosis to ketoacidosis risk, and lactate normal (1.5 mmol/L) and high (10 mmol/L), covering rest to intense exercise and sepsis. The base is the same simulated interstitial fluid at pH 7.4 (range 7.35–7.45), and measured values are stated on each certificate.
