Biochemazone Dusty Sweat-Sebum Emulsion BZ616 is a realistic soiling fluid that combines artificial eccrine sweat, artificial sebum and fine test dust in one stable emulsion. Real hands leave a mixture of skin oil, sweat salts and dirt on the things they touch, and this product reproduces all three at once.
The sweat phase has a pH of about 5.0 (range 4.5–5.5), typical of skin-surface sweat. The sebum phase follows our synthetic sebum composition (triglycerides, fatty acids, wax esters, squalene and cholesterol), and the solid phase is a fine mineral test dust of the ISO 12103-1 type. The emulsion is homogenised so the dust stays suspended, giving an even, repeatable soil when sprayed, wiped or stamped onto a surface.
BZ616 extends our Artificial Eccrine Sweat-Sebum Emulsion (BZ130) with a dust component. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
