Biochemazone Artificial Sweat for Biomedical Applications BZ377 is a ready-to-use, sterile synthetic sweat at pH 6.2 for testing biomedical devices and materials that are worn on the skin. Patches, electrodes, adhesives, sensors and device housings spend days in contact with sweat; BZ377 lets developers expose them to a constant, well-defined sweat during design verification instead of relying on volunteers.
BZ377 is supplied not stabilized and preservative-free, with a 6-month shelf life unopened, so no preservative is present that could affect a skin-contact material, an adhesive or a sensing layer. A stabilized version with non-toxic preservatives is available on request, and the pH of 6.2, the formulation and the pack size can be customized.
