Product Overview
Biochemazone Modified Tyrode’s Solution BZ235 is a balanced salt solution based on the classic Tyrode formulation – sodium chloride, calcium, phosphate and glucose – with added HEPES. The HEPES gives it a stronger buffering capacity than conventional Tyrode’s solution and keeps the pH stable without CO2 gassing.
It keeps osmotic pressure and acid–base balance close to physiological conditions and supplies the ions and energy tissues need. It is widely used for isolated intestinal (ileum, jejunum) and smooth-muscle preparations, organ perfusion and tissue cleaning and holding, and as a physiological medium for short in vitro experiments.
Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
