Product Overview
Biochemazone Plasma and Serum Analyte Level Panels BZ591 supply our simulated plasma at three defined levels of common clinical-chemistry analytes – glucose, urea, creatinine, sodium, potassium, chloride and calcium. Level 1 is set low, Level 2 in the normal adult range and Level 3 high, so a sensor or method can be checked across its working range in one matrix.
Nominal concentrations: Level 1 glucose 2.8 mmol/L, urea 2.0 mmol/L, creatinine 40 µmol/L, sodium 125, potassium 3.0, chloride 90 and calcium 1.8 mmol/L; Level 2 glucose 5.5, urea 5.0, creatinine 80 µmol/L, sodium 140, potassium 4.2, chloride 102 and calcium 2.4 mmol/L; Level 3 glucose 16.7, urea 20, creatinine 400 µmol/L, sodium 155, potassium 6.5, chloride 115 and calcium 3.0 mmol/L. The measured values for each batch are stated on the certificate. The matrix is buffered to pH 7.4 (range 7.35–7.45).
The panels are made for research, biosensor development and method comparison. They are not registered calibrators or controls for clinical diagnosis. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
