Product Overview

Biochemazone CIPAC Standard Waters BZ639 are the waters of defined hardness used in the physical tests of pesticide formulations described in CIPAC MT 18. Emulsion stability, suspensibility, dispersion and wet-sieve tests are all run in these waters so that results can be compared between laboratories and with FAO/WHO specifications.

Three waters are offered: Standard Water A (soft, 20 ppm hardness as CaCO₃), Standard Water C (500 ppm) and Standard Water D (342 ppm), the water most often named in specifications. They are prepared from calcium and magnesium salts, adjusted to a pH of about 6.0–7.0, and their hardness and pH are recorded on each certificate.

Check the water, hardness and pH required by your method or specification. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
