Biochemazone Antibody Simulation Solutions BZ468, trade name BioSimAb™-468, is a sterile, ready-to-use, chemically defined, animal-free liquid at pH 7.4 that simulates the behaviour of antibodies and their physiological environment in experimental settings. It gives a consistent platform for studying antigen–antibody interactions, antibody efficacy and immune responses in vitro, without animal-derived products.
It is used in immunology, drug discovery, diagnostic research and the development of therapeutic antibodies: to evaluate the functionality and specificity of antibodies, to develop and optimize diagnostic assays that depend on antigen–antibody binding, to study antigen recognition and immune modulation, and to assess drug–antibody interactions and drug delivery systems. The composition is fully defined, so results are reproducible from batch to batch.
It is supplied stabilized and has a 1-year shelf life unopened; a preservative-free version (6-month shelf life) and a dried Powder Version Kit are available on request. Because it contains protein, keep it at 2–8 °C if it is to be stored for a long time. Shake the bottle well before use. The antibody concentration, pH, ionic strength and nutrient profile can be customized. This simulated fluid is for scientific research and in vitro use only; it is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
