Product Overview
Biochemazone Simulated Feline Plasma and Serum BZ691 is a cat plasma and serum simulant for veterinary diagnostics and pharmaceutical research. It completes our companion-animal range alongside Simulated Canine Plasma (BZ417) and gives a consistent matrix, free of cat material, for assay development and protein-binding studies.
The simulant contains albumin and globulins, glucose, urea, creatinine and electrolytes set within published feline reference ranges, with a pH of 7.4 ± 0.1. It is offered as serum, or as plasma containing K2EDTA or lithium heparin to match the tube type of your samples. Target analyte values are listed on the certificate.
The proteins are of bovine (animal) origin and the heparin is porcine; no cat material is used. It is a surrogate matrix and does not contain feline-specific proteins or antibodies. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
