Product Overview
Biochemazone Mouse Artificial CSF, Mouse Interstitial Fluid and Dog Artificial CSF BZ712 are electrolyte solutions for in-vivo microdialysis, intracerebral and intrathecal dosing vehicles, and bioanalytical surrogate matrices in mouse and dog studies. They extend our rat CSF and interstitial fluid range to two other common laboratory species.
Each solution contains sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, phosphate and glucose at levels based on published reference ranges for the species, with a pH of 7.3–7.4. The CSF solutions are protein-free; the interstitial fluid is also supplied protein-free, with albumin available on request. The solutions contain no animal-derived ingredients and are sterile-filtered.
Bicarbonate-buffered solutions reach their stated pH when gassed with 95% O₂ / 5% CO₂; HEPES-buffered versions are available for use without gassing. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
