Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline, without Calcium-Magnesium is one of the most commonly used phosphate buffered solutions, also known as Dulbecco’s phosphate buffered saline, Dulbecco’s PBS, D-PBSA, CMF- DPBS, D-PBS, DPBS, mainly composed of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, without Ca2+, Mg2+, pH 7.4, this reagent is autoclaved and commonly used in cells Washing of cells during culture or other conventional uses. This reagent is a 1× working solution and is used directly.
Precautions

DPBS is a balanced salt solution (BSS) used for the handling and culturing of mammalian cells. DPBS is used to to irrigate, wash, and dilute mammalian cells. Phosphate buffering maintains the pH in the physiological range. Calcium and magnesium facilitate cell binding and clumping. DPBS without these ions can be used to wash and rinse suspended cells.
