Product Overview
Biochemazone Dialyzer Clearance Test Solution BZ646 is a ready-made test fluid for measuring how well haemodialyzers and haemofilters remove waste solutes. Clearance testing of dialyzers is described in ISO 8637-1, which uses aqueous test solutions of marker solutes.
Two solutions are offered. The clearance test solution contains urea, creatinine and phosphate as small solutes and vitamin B12 as a larger marker, in a physiological salt base. The uraemic plasma simulant adds albumin for studies of protein effects and albumin loss. Both have a pH of 7.4 ± 0.2, and the concentration of each marker is reported on the certificate.
Check the markers and concentrations required by your edition of ISO 8637-1 or your internal method. It complements our Artificial Dialysis Waste Fluid (BZ512). Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system. The albumin is of bovine origin.
