Sodium citrate, also known as sodium citrate, can be used as a chelating agent in industry and as an anticoagulant in the pharmaceutical industry. In biology, sodium citrate is mostly used as a citrate in combination with citric acid. Citric acid sodium citrate buffer can effectively remove the cross-linking between proteins caused by aldehyde fixatives during immunohistochemistry. Expose the epitope in the paraffin section and other samples, thereby greatly improving the immunostaining effect.
Citric acid sodium citrate buffer (0.1mol/L, pH4.5) is obtained by mixing citric acid and sodium citrate in different proportions, with a citrate concentration of 0.1mol/L and pH=4.5.
