Product Overview
Biochemazone Synthetic Cat Faeces BZ675 is a non-biological cat-stool simulant for testing litters, litter scoops and automatic (self-cleaning) litter boxes. It lets developers run repeated sifting, raking and cleaning cycles without handling real faeces.
Cat stools are firmer and drier than dog stools. The simulant is a mouldable brown paste that can be shaped into stool-sized pieces and holds its form in litter, made from fibres, proteins, lipids and salts in water, with a pH of about 6.0–7.0. It can be used fresh or partly dried to represent older stools.
It is the feline partner of our Dog Synthetic Fecal Material (BZ562). It contains no faecal material or pathogens. Tell us the moisture and firmness your test needs and we can adjust the batch. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
