Product Introduction
HEPES is 4-(2-Hydroxyethyl)piperazine-1-ethanesulfonic acid, which is non-toxic to cells. HEPES is a non-ionic amphoteric buffer, which can effectively control the pH in the range of 6.8 to 8.2, especially at pH 7.2 to 7.4. It has good buffering capacity. The final concentration is generally 10 to 50 mmol/L. mmol/L HEPES can achieve better buffer capacity.
Phygene HEPES buffer (1×, containing calcium and magnesium) is a commonly used solution in cell-cell adhesion experiments. It is mainly composed of HEPES, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, phosphate, glucose, etc., and contains Ca2+, Mg2+, pH7.4, sterilized by filtration. It is often used to clean tissues or cells (especially embryonic cells) during long-term aggregation culture to protect the cadherin of cells without affecting the formation of cell aggregation.

Use reference
1. Mainly used for washing cells, similar to PBS for direct use.
2. If it is a cell, just wash it directly. If it is a tissue, the tissue should be cut out, placed in pre-cooled HEPES buffer (1 ×, containing calcium and magnesium), and cut into small pieces, collected with the minimum amount of buffer, and transferred to a BSA-coated petri dish In, use scissors to cut the tissues for downstream cell culture experiments.
