Product Overview

Biochemazone Dishwasher Test Soils BZ659 are prepared food soils for testing the cleaning performance of dishwashers and automatic dishwashing detergents. Food soils made in each laboratory vary with the ingredients and the cook, so ready-made soils from one controlled batch make results easier to repeat and compare.

The soils follow the approach of IEC 60436 (dishwasher performance) and the IKW method for automatic dishwashing detergents, in which ware is soiled with typical foods and dried or baked on before washing. Four types are offered: a mixed set, a protein soil (egg yolk and minced meat), a starch soil (oat flakes and pasta) and a fat and milk soil. The soils contain food ingredients of animal origin (egg, meat and milk). A 10% slurry has a pH of about 6.0–7.0.

Soil amounts, application, drying and ageing are set by your method. Check the soil list and preparation in your edition of IEC 60436 or the IKW method; we can match the soils to your procedure. Made under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
