Artificial Bursal Fluid Features & Notes:
- Composition and Purpose: Artificial Bursal Fluid is a synthetic solution designed to replicate the properties of natural bursal fluid. It includes components that mimic its physical and chemical properties, such as water, electrolytes, proteins, and other relevant biomolecules.
- Storage Instructions: Store Artificial Bursal Fluid at 4 degrees Celsius. It can be transported at room temperature.
- Usage Restrictions: This product is strictly for scientific research conducted by professionals. It is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food, or medicine, and cannot be stored in ordinary households.
- Safety Precautions: For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves when handling Artificial Bursal Fluid.
Artificial Bursal Fluid is primarily utilized by research laboratories to study the interaction between bursal fluid and the joint environment, including lubrication, friction reduction, and cellular health. It is used in diagnostic tests to measure various biomarkers in the bursal fluid, providing a non-invasive method for assessing joint health and physiological function.
- Viscosity: The Artificial Bursal Fluid must have a viscosity within a specified range to ensure it mimics natural bursal fluid.
- Density: The density of the solution should match that of natural bursal fluid for reliable test results.
- pH Level: The pH of the solution needs to be within the range of natural bursal fluid (approximately 7.3 to 7.5). The default pH of this formulation is set at 7.4.
- Stability: The solution should remain stable over the course of testing, without significant changes in its properties.
- Color: Typically adjusted to resemble natural bursal fluid for visual testing and assessment purposes.
Artificial Bursal Fluid is used for:
- Testing and Calibration: Used for testing and calibration of medical devices that interact with bursal fluid, such as diagnostic tools and lab equipment designed to monitor joint health and physiological functions.
- Research and Development: Facilitates the research and development of new technologies and procedures in orthopedics and healthcare, enabling advancements in understanding and treating joint conditions and diseases.
- Training and Education: Provides realistic scenarios for students and professionals in orthopedics and medical fields, allowing for training and educational purposes without the need for real bursal fluid.
This ready-to-use solution has the same composition as Dermal Interstitial Fluid and closely resembles Real Bursal Fluid Fluid. This formulation contains non-toxic preservatives (optional) to avoid bacteria growth and can be stored at room temperature. The pH of the Artificial Bursal Fluid Stabilized is 7.4 (customizable on request as per the customer’s project requirements).
We also accept customization in formulation, minerals, organic content, pack size, preservatives, and pH. The powdered Artificial Bursal Fluid is also available for this product. Please send us an email for more information.
