Biochemazone Synthetic Pet Vomit BZ677 is a simulant of dog and cat vomit for testing carpet and upholstery cleaners and the stain resistance of flooring and fabrics. Pet vomit is one of the hardest household stains to remove because it combines acid, partly digested food, fat, protein and colour.
Three types are offered. Dog food vomit and cat food vomit contain partly broken-down pet-food solids in an acidic, slightly mucous fluid. The cat hairball type adds fine fibres that mimic ingested fur, bound in a thicker matrix, for tests of fibre pick-up and residue. The pH is about 4 (range 3.0–5.5), reflecting stomach acid diluted by food. The pet-food solids contain animal-derived meat and fish ingredients.
Apply a fixed dose, allow a set dwell and drying time, and use the same type across a test series. Each batch is prepared with ISO 3696 compliant high-purity water under Biochemazone’s ISO 9001 / GMP quality system.
