Artificial Saliva

Saliva formulation has a similar composition and ingredients that simulate the mineral composition, enzymes (customized), and pH of natural saliva. Artificial Saliva is used to study dry mouth conditions, drug interaction, and oral mucosa delivery systems. This formulation is prepared by reconstituting the dried powder in sterile water prior to use. The resulting solution mimics human saliva and can include viscosity enhancers to better replicate physiological conditions.

This formulation is intended only for product testing and scientific research, and not for in vivo medical use.
