Simulated Otic Fluid Features & Notes:
- Simulated Otic fluid is a synthetic solution designed to replicate the properties of natural ear secretions, including its physical and chemical properties, such as viscosity, density, and pH level.
- Store otic fluid at 4 degrees Celsius. It can be transported at room temperature.
- This product is limited to scientific research and therapeutic applications conducted by professionals. It cannot be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment beyond its intended purpose and is not suitable for food or medicine. It should not be stored in ordinary households.
- For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves when handling otic fluid.

- Viscosity: The simulated otic fluid must have a viscosity within a specified range to ensure it mimics natural ear secretions accurately.
- Density: The density of the solution should match that of natural ear secretions for reliable test results and effective simulation.
- pH Level: The pH of the solution needs to be within the range of natural ear secretions (approximately 4.5 to 6.5). The default pH of this formulation is set at 5.5.
- Stability: The solution should remain stable over the course of testing, without significant changes in its properties, to ensure consistent results.
- Color: Typically adjusted to resemble natural ear secretions for visual assessment and accurate simulation.
Simulated Otic Fluid is used for:

This ready-to-use solution has the same composition as Simulated Otic Fluid and closely resembles Otic Fluid. This formulation contains non-toxic preservatives (optional) to avoid bacteria growth and can be stored at room temperature. The pH of the Simulated Otic Fluid Stabilized is 5.5 (customizable on request as per the customer’s project requirements).
